Lingerie for Plus Size Women

There is a phrase that I repeated several times a day. I say to myself, I offer to my friends and colleagues, and I remind others of its truth constantly. This sentence is: "Beautiful women come in all shapes and sizes." Owning this idea was not always easy – it took some work, and we must work to help others get there too. It is as simple as reminding them that only a hundred years, all burlesque queens had curves.

Sometimes, the conversation takes a life of its own and turns in the world of "Sexy is as sexy does." The Internet has been an extremely liberating experience for women large, especially when it comes to lingerie – and even the great question of sexuality in general. As the company grew increasingly focused on weight and always oxymoron now that we were all supposed to be thin, it seemed for some time as being a full figured woman almost become something to shame. We were told to dress in layers – or worse – do not leave house at all. While we were not supposed to be pretty and titillating – that belonged exclusively to the size 6 and under set.

What Lie! Fortunately for me – and beautiful women in size as me – he had a reaction to the large thin lie that we've all been force-fed. Personally I want to own my beauty every day of my life, and I want to own everything that goes with it. The idea that I had to hide my body once the lights go out is worse than absurd, it's destructive.

I remember looking for a lace peignoir set when my best friend, Carolyn, were married in our early twenties. Carolyn was incredibly beautiful (still is) – so it was voted best looking in our directory above. She was still beautiful five years later to a size 22 when she committed. I knew his girlfriend knew, everybody knew. But apparently, Macy's, JCPenney, and all other departments of lingerie in our hometown does not know. The only choice they have been worse than unflattering – they were boring. After several weeks of frustration, the wedding and I gave up and paid a local seamstress to design and sew a one-of-a-kind, surprisingly fine pure silk negligees and lacy (with a small red heart on the rift, just for fun).

With the birth of the online world, we are now aware of many examples of lovely clothes, sexy plus size lingerie and with the click of a mouse. Any simple equipment French Maid entitled to a G-string leopard – you ask, is there.

Working Designs gave me a SWAK million possibilities to be part of an extraordinary revolution and fascinating, and today, I invite you to join me and participate. This is a sexual revolution for the new millennium – in which each woman is entitled to dress up and strut their business. And remember, sexy starts with what is inside – but like everywhere in life, a large wardrobe does not hurt you!
