Is this from a Yahoo group that goes along with my site a good idea?

Right now I'm working on my site (to be issued in about 2 weeks). While I was working with her, I thought the idea of starting a Yahoo group or forum that will together. I design and sell templates for hand-knitted sweaters, cardigans, etc. in larger sizes. I thought it would be a good way to learn what my customers need and what they want. A place to share opinions. But for moderate group in the right direction can take time. Or would I be better member of a similar group and just ask me? What I have in mind is a group where we can discuss what makes a model a good model, what to avoid, because it would not be good on a large person. I can not imagine what I like to think, but out of a Such a group would be a wonderful source of new ideas. In an ideal group would be to work together to get mobile, comfortable and beautiful models who comfortable to wear – for young people too baggy. Thank you for your advice.

I would try to start the Yahoo group, this way, I an idea of what my potential and current customers want. The fact is that if it does not work on the Yahoo group is free and you would not do so there is no loss wrong and if it works, you profit. so why not try it with other forums … no harm to check the competition, or
