cheaper to buy or make a costume?

We're going to Disney for Halloween this year and I want our costumes Nice … Then I was wondering .. do you think it's cheaper to buy or make a costume? The dress I would buy is $ 68.99, and the costume I would like to is an airy, fairy dress Shin Sleeve length removable ruched simple … they are both more companies .. I do not know how much material costs generally, since I've never made clothes before .. I will ask my stepmother who is a seamstress to help me btw:) I just want to know the before hand if it is not worth disturbing … Thank you!

I tell you that more difficult to make a costume, but much cheaper. one Halloween I wanted Fred Flintstone be it was 70 dollars to buy and I spent about 40 dollars on equipment to make the costume instead. I done and it looked cool and I saved a lot of money. so I guess it depends if u want to save money and work really difficult to make a costume or just buy a costume already made for $ 70
