how do you make a french maid costume cheap?

I want to role play with my husband for the first time and he wants me to ware a french maid outfit. well it cost way to much for a costume online or well anywhere i’m a plus size. any ideas on how i can make my own?

Some kind of a black dress… then just find a little white apron. you could even get some fabric somewhere and make your own and a little headband type thing. Then just buy a white feather duster! I bet you could even find a apron at the thrift shop for cheap. Then maybe wear some nice high heels to make it even sexier….and the shorter the skirt and more low cut! have fun!
