What happens with my prom dress black?

My Prom is in a month and I bought this beautiful dress yesterday. In fact, the lady I bought This dress she wore at her wedding (she is nervous) so if you want to represent is a black dress for the bride. I do not know if it gives you an idea or not, but I'm more size so I guess I fear that "too much" will make me look too heavy. It's beautiful and I am wearing it to prom So a ball gown and I am proud to be the door =)
