Help me I am the challenge mode and I really need new school clothes!?

My mother sent me $ 1,000 to blow on clothes for school, but I cannot period dress. More my truck (I am a size 12/13 and L / XL) and DD within companies do not help much either. Until now, I just wear skinny jeans and shirts, but what I really want to dress like are you see these girls that wear high-waisted skirts, tucked in during a cardigan and Gladiator "or" T-tape sandals. I wish also shed some of the indie scene and just to do mine. but I do not know where to shop for the lowest price how to put these three trends together or when the shop or what to buy!
