What I said – Full Figured Black Women still rare in the media

SIS-Big Black Women still unknown Minnesota Spokesman Recorder Dwight Hobbes I glad someone else for the large size model Crystal Renn. I have not read his book, Hungry: a young model's history of appetite, ambition and Channel Ultimate curves, but it is difficult to transform a newspaper or magazine page without seeing an ad for it or a related story, the memory of a woman who is in Madison Avenue shoe horns stick figure image to work as a model. Most of his saga is it was miserable to be forced to lean and now rejoices to be able to wear skimpy clothes waving a context quite well. Did not read the book but I got a look to see the before and after. Renn used to look like a portmanteau. Just enough skin to hold his bones together. Today, she is thick as a brick with narrow curves that you could ski off of. And no longer die of hunger, quite imaginatively it is pretty damn happy. Especially since she just keeps getting better. I am also happy for girls and women who can watch Crystal Renn as an image of the building staff, proof that you do not need to be thinner than six hours be beautiful. God knows the esteem of women far too big butts and thighs can use all the reinforcements they can get. It's great that this type of soil has been broken. And it would be a hell of a ride if a revolution broke out in full and tomorrow morning the women were great Hawking stripped of all g-string with Ford cars. They sure as hell get my attention. While all this is wonderful, but I can not help be aware that, Crystal Renn Crystal Renn or not, we are far from seeing a woman of color with the same body approaches more exposure Crystal Renn has by right of his birthday suit. When she was Reed-thin, Renn has work that had been denied black models. Native models U.S.. Asian models. Latina models. She will always get this way. And the cruel irony is that women of color are known throughout worldwide for their part incredibly talented. But not on billboards, magazine covers, TV commercials and newspaper ads. Certainly, this new day improving cultural diversity, you occasionally see a thin dark lady smile at you on the media. Not nearly as much as reflect the public, but, yes, some. Everything entrenched racist discrimination strongly supported allows. As at penalty in 2007, the few black models whose income was equal to the height adjustment. Naomi Campbell, Iman and Liya Kebede has launched a campaign protesting that racial discrimination in the fashion industry was at its worst level since the 1960s. In case you were not around, the years 1960 was not no joke. We were pleased to see play Julia Diahann Carroll on television. Yes, America has a president Black and First Lady Michelle Obama does wonderful things for a woolen dress. This society, however, still has a long way to go. Glad I am for Crystal Renn and his crusade confessed at his estate for the full figured, I do not get it together one hell of a batch all but white women. About the Author
