Plus size 21 years, which would look good on me?

I have a Christmas night, the next weekend with my college friends and I am a size 22/24 ish, but it seems that I can never look good to me because of my size, the only thing that I love wear a dress shirt with black dress pants and a belt around my waist, which seems interesting, but I always wear it! Some good ideas would be modern greatly appreciated!
