prom dresses for plus size girls?

My friends and i are planning a girls night, were going to buy prom dresses and just have a night of fun. The thing is that one of my friends is in the bigger side, i have no idea what size she is, but she has told that that she hasn’t been size 14 dress size in a long time.
No obscene comments, there is nothing we can do about her weight, just love here for her. Is there any stores that you know of that have prom dresses for plus size girls? I don’t want her feeling bad that she can’t fit anything.
I live in hawaii, so we might not have much stores as the mainland or else where, but if you just suggest some places than maybe we’ll have it too.
