The fashion show alternating 2009

Back to the first day of the Alternative Fashion Show at Spitalfields Market, London. This is where young people can show their collections and new designers hoping to be discovered.

The audience was eclectic and vibrant, the drawings were entertaining dreamy, the models were not stick thin, the market stalls around swarming clothing and accessories to buy and there were lots of places to eat. Overall, a great day.

What was on display the podium?:

Flywheels next to the hair accessory??? Well, I mean tassels are to be a success that the trend this fall / Winter flying, so why not? They are also in the city & Islington College collection that took inspiration from the "Fashion Vs Sport" exhibition at the V & A. white lace tights, white lace skirts / blouses, pink T-shirts and shorts lycra white – all teamed with pink and white shuttle cocks are girlie cute fun feel.

Victorian Gothic made an appearance in the Gemma Garnham collection. Many black lace, black leather, long white cotton shirts worn with all macho flat boots. The leather kept the light burning, lace and feminine edgy boots. Heart of the exaggerated puff sleeves.

Spooky black and white masks were worn by both male and female models in the series debut Manjit Sangha called unprecious and undisciplined, the backstabbers sewing. T-shirts and white drawings of large shoulders wore American-style football shorts or cycle shorts were mostly black appearance wet, and jewelry were great square or triangular cardboard boxes plain worn as bracelets.

Rubberwear caused a stir among Robert Miller Pretty Pervy collection. Styles included a jacket and pencil skirt peplum, Wild West-style dress and square body con dresses. The models were plus size, oozing sexual confidence and looked like they were a good time.

After all that hot rubber, Laura Booty collection was a cool breeze free-flowing romantic dresses adorned with discarded nick-a-brac and unwanted waste as an alternative to precious stones. Recycling at its most glamorous.

Men were not forgotten – Aaron Ray Dowie for "lord of the earth country elegance. The colors are brown and neutral – worthy of a Duke.

Punk rock meets ballerina was introduced by Cassie Kogler of New York. Not so sure the legs of metal decorated with gold – it must have very thin legs to remove them.

Knitting has never been so sexy. Amelia Palmer collection certainly does with its complex folding and folds. Heart of the cardigans.

Amazon shades were the colors of Chantal Gibbs-Jones gowns. His drawings exaggerated and improved the feminine silhouette. You'd certainly the queen of the evening in one of these creations.

I had my favorites, but the question is who will the favorite of the fashion industry?
