Full figured Fabulous

With the many changes underway in our country, probably the last group still faced "acceptable" Discrimination of women is full figured. Like all victims of prejudice, the request for acceptance and appreciation must come from within the group itself. And it starts in each of us as individuals. Before we can expect others to recognize our inner and outer beauty and intelligence, and stop treating us like second class citizens (can you say airplane seats?) – We need to stop and claim our own right to the full featured fabulous in every sense. And perhaps, with holidays upon us, starting with a simple, sexy fashion statement. (Smallest size black dress anyone?)

We all know that we wear is really important – no one could go to a Park Avenue job interview in fighting old jeans, for example, or the gala show of the year without the perfect dress. No, we dress for success in a large trial with a silk blouse or dress satin perfect. This is absolutely no different for women of larger size and fashion. With a breathtaking spectacle and size little black dress is simply a must. Indeed, whatever the occasion, make sure that we look fabulous is really important. We must reclaim our own beauty all day, every day. When we dress to be drop-dead Gorgeous, we say that our beauty is simply no debate.

plus size has come a long way, and the models are not lacking. Everywhere we look, from Queen Latifah to America Ferrara (the Emmy Award winning star of Ugly Betty), the message that beautiful women come in all shapes and sizes is all around us. Indeed, in May of this year, Tyra Banks (a champion Women in size) and other America's Next Top Model Whitney Thompson judges chose to show their prize winner plus size. Although some of we could debate it is not truly representative of the size 18 and over the world is a breath of fresh air to see someone modeling in the fashion industry who is not a size two.

The key message that we need as much as women size, is as follows: even if beauty is an inside job, fashion is a huge statement. A larger size wardrobe says: "I am with me, and you should be too.
